Google reports that "a new completely new era of mobiles is on the way," and that the Pixel 9 Pro and the other new ones can be pre-ordered after the press conference at 19:00 on August 13 .
The website Ytechb has obtained Google's Pixel 9 Pro XL prototype and compares it with, among other things, the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Google will show off the new mobiles and watches on 13 August.

And now it is expected that Google will give those who buy a new Pixel 9 Pro or Pro XL 1 year with "Gemini Advanced." There are simultaneous hints that the Pixel 9 will get half a year of free use of the same AI service.
Google One AI Premium benefits include experimental features that use generative AI. Experimental features may make mistakes, and they may suggest inaccurate or inappropriate answers that do not represent Google's views. By giving feedback you can help make the function better for everyone.
In addition to the usual upgrades such as increased performance, AI and better cameras, it has previously been reported that the new mobiles with the new design (it will probably be the Pixel 10 series that will be the big upgrade) will get a new type of touch-sensitive screen:
"Touch sensitivity will automatically adapt to the environment, the activities, and the screen protector," explains Google about the function that will probably be launched in the new top models in October this year. It's an interesting development, because the OnePlus 12 has "Aqua Touch," which is a self-explanatory function: if the screen gets wet in the rain, the touch works much better than without the technology. We hope "Adaptive Touch" achieves the same, and that Apple follows suit."
