Has opened for credit card trading of Bitcoin

Stripe, a technical platform that accounts for a large share of online payments, has activated support for trading digital currency for Europeans with debit and credit cards.

Makes it much easier

It is not only Bitcoin that is supported but also Ethereum and Solana.

Stripe is initially targeting crypto marketplaces and suppliers.

The news comes after the company announced support for automatic conversion from digital currency to euros and dollars. The company is based in Dublin and San Francisco.

Online exchanges can already add a new button that makes it easy to trade digital currency with a card:

“This extension allows crypto companies to help European consumers buy cryptocurrencies quickly and easily,” says John Egan, head of crypto at Stripe.

“Now merchants who rely on Stripe's onramp for things like conversion optimization, identity verification, and fraud prevention can reach a more global audience. This allows them to focus on growing their business and helping their customers,” Egan added.
