Apple is very close

US customers can purchase the Apple Vision Pro in February

“The interesting thing in the latest revelations is that, per Gurman, Apple will launch the Vision Pro as early as January, at least by March 2024 if the company does not encounter one or more problems. Tim Cook has already stated that the launch of the AR/VR headset will happen in early 2024, but already the first month of the year is a bit surprising for us as well,” we reported 11. December.

There was also something else entirely concrete that pointed in the direction of the company approaching launch: the introductory videos showing how to use the headset were revealed in beta software. It was known halfway through November. And, with iOS 17.2, the iPhone 15 Pro has gained support for 3D video recording that can be viewed with Vision Pro.

Now Mark Gurman, as always from Bloomberg, has brought in even more information which reveals that production has been in full swing for several weeks already and that Apple has not encountered any problems. What does that mean? According to "people with knowledge of the plans," that means the product will arrive in the US on the eve of January, and the first consumers can buy the headset in the same region in February.

Probably won't come to Norway until about a year from now

Something else that emphasizes that the launch is fast approaching and that everything is going as it should is that developers were told on Wednesday to get ready for Vision Pro, ie: their apps should be very close to the stable 1.0 version.

What the situation is for the rest of the world, and Norway, is far from certain. We have previously speculated that the headset may not be launched here at home until 2025, but that is and remains speculation. We expect that information will leak about the company's plans for the global market next year. It is also possible that Apple is talking about the launch in other countries when they launch in a couple of months.

In other Apple-related news about brand-new products, two new images of the new CarPlay have been published. Moreover, there are even more indications that the brand-new Apple Watch X will be launched next year with magnetic straps.
