Microsoft may have let the launch date slip for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Microsoft | Jun 28, 2016 | Master3395

Original Story: Microsoft's blog site has posted up a headline stating that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update will be released on August 2.

The blog post itself only shows the headline, "Microsoft announces Windows 10 anniversary update available Aug. 2" with no other info. It's likely that this post went live early. We will update this story when we learn more.

Microsoft first announced at Build 2016 that Windows 10 users will be able to download the free Anniversary Update sometime this summer. Windows Insiders members have been testing a number of the new features that will be included in the update for the past few months.
