Gets cool function soon

A new function for Photos has been discovered in recent Google code.

AI takes over

"Cinematic Moment" is the name of the video function that creates slow motion from original speed footage.

The cool thing here, depending on whether it actually works, is that the app itself picks the part of the video that gets the slo-mo effect. We still hope that manual selection will be provided if desired. According to Android Authority, it will not be possible at launch, but there is nothing stopping Google from adding this later.

Samsung just launched a feature for the Galaxy S24 where AI adds multiple images to achieve a slow-motion effect. Google has already launched "Cinematic Photos", which creates a kind of 3D effect from 2D photos.
