The company has announced Vivaldia 2 which can be played in the browser now, and which is the sequel to "the most powerful in-browser game out there. Vivaldia 2 is an ode to a golden era in gaming history and draws inspiration from classic DOS Shareware games and the nostalgia of old Sega and Nintendo consoles, says the press release

The first game only worked in the company's own browser, while the sequel works in all browsers.
An ode to a golden era in gaming history, Vivaldia 2 draws inspiration from classic DOS Shareware games and the nostalgia of old Sega and Nintendo consoles. If you ever sat on the bench in front of your TV (maybe on a snowy day) in the 80's and 90's, this is for you!
The game is designed to be a marketing push for Vivaldi as a game browser and as a challenger to Opera GX. Vivaldi lists the following advantages of their browser:
- Hibernate tabs to save memory: Vivaldi has powerful tab management, including hibernating tabs (or tab groups) to save memory.
- View tabs side-by-side: With a split-screen view like no other browser, you can watch multiple Twitch streams or Discord chats at the same time.

- Easy access to Twitch, Discord, Reddit, and more: Add any page to your sidebar using web panels. The sidebar also lets you quickly access bookmarks, downloads, tree-style navigation, and embedded notes.
- Watch videos in a floating window: You don't need extensions to watch Twitch streams in a floating window. Vivaldi has built-in Pop-out Video functionality (picture-in-picture mode).
- Get up to speed by blocking trackers and unwanted ads: Block ads and trackers with the built-in tracking and ad blocker.
- Get your stuff organized: Group tabs and tab stacks into distinct workspaces by category. With a single click, you can instantly change the view in a window.
