Google can't wait

Google's Pixel press conference isn't until October 4, but the company can't wait.

Like Samsung, Google doesn't take big chances

The company "unofficially" leaked the Pixel 8 on August 30. They then followed up by confirming that it got a temperature sensor on 6 September.

Now the company has posted both a picture and a video of not only the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but also the Pixel Watch 2.

We do not know much about what is new with the new watch generation (beyond more personal help, security functions, and health information - as well as the fact that the Android requirement is now 9.0, perhaps due to Wear OS 4) - the focus of Google for mobiles has improved AI and better cameras.

Google also confirms that the mobiles will be available for purchase on the same day they are revealed, i.e. 4 October. Check out the spec list below which has been updated with additional information including a 5000 mAh battery.
