iPhone finally gets the feature after Android

Tired of verification codes cluttering your iPhone messaging inbox?

Android automatically deletes these codes after a day, but iOS hasn't had the feature, not until now.

 

It is of course iOS 17 that has support for this, and you can install all beta OSes at once without having to wait until next month and without paying for a developer account .

 

Apple has finally added the feature that automatically deletes a code in both Messages and Apple's email app after the system detects the code has been auto-filled (the feature is, at least in beta 1, not enabled by default). It is also possible from the same settings (Password) to choose where to retrieve passwords and passkeys automatically, such as 1Password and Google Authenticator.
