Is Intel's big graphics card venture already dead?

Intel has not exactly gone bombastic and served heaps of its new graphics cards globally, at the same time.

Intel messed up the drivers and didn't hit the sales target
Instead, a little while ago they launched the 1080p card A380 only in China. Certainly, the very quiet rollout must be due to weak drivers that many have complained about.

 

The company also recently had to admit that they will not reach the sales targets for the GPUs, precisely because of the drivers.

Again, Igor's Lab is sitting on interesting information that makes us wonder how far Intel will be able to go.

 

Igor Wallossek has spoken to stores, distributors, and manufacturers in Europe and says that the responses he received indicate "little or no interest" in selling, importing, and manufacturing Intel's first-generation GPUs.

 

In addition, it is reported from the same source that a large graphics card manufacturer has completely stopped selling the cards. The reason must be because of the quality, whatever that actually means. Maybe the drivers?

It is also said that the warehouses are supposedly full of cards that are not sold, however, we are unsure where there would have been large warehouses outside of China where the A380, and only that card, is available.

 

So far, only ASRock and Gunnir have started selling this card. We do not know where the big three are, i.e. Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI.

 

The graphics card market is tough, and it is difficult to come in so late after the big two have long been established. The question is whether Intel gives up, or just sees Arc as the first attempt at a new generation and that they follow up with a new generation sooner than planned due to the still problematic launch, we believe Wallossek.
