Now comes Apple's rawest CPU: "M2 Extreme"

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg says the company's new Mac Pro with Apple Silicon has been ready for months.

But the company chose not to launch it with the M1 Pro/Ultra chipset-instead the plan is to sell it with a brand new Apple Silicon M2 Extreme CPU which will be very rough in the stable.

 

Gurman says Apple will reveal the new Mac later this year, exactly when it is not revealed. The machine may be launched in the summer of 2023.

 

Originally, the plan was to showcase the new Pro machine under WWDC 2022 but instead chose to focus on the new OS upgrades and MacBook Air M2.
