Starfield will be launched next year once.

Confirms that Fallout 5 is coming (in many years)
After the studio launches the sci-fi game, the stage is set for The Elder Scrolls 6 (which is only in the pre-production stage, Bethesda boss Todd Howard reports in a recent interview), at one time or another. The studio announced the game four years ago, but we still have not seen anything from the game itself, only a CGI trailer.

 

The fact that production has not even started properly with a game that was announced in 2018 points in the direction that Fallout 5 is many years away.

 

Starfield took seven years
One possibility is that the game will use technology from The Elder Scrolls 6 which may lay the foundation for a new graphics engine, and therefore will not take as long.

 

If The Elder Scrolls 6 is launched in 2025, Fallout 5 may come in 2027 or 2028. By the way, they started with Starfield in late 2015 (the same year Fallout 4 came), so it took them seven years.

 

Howard says they are also looking at a couple of other projects. At the same time, he regretted that everything takes so long and that they try as hard as they can to get the games out the door.
