With the CineBeam HU915QE, LG is trying to convince you that you should buy a projector rather than a TV.

Has more brightness than the competition
The problem with projectors is that they require a dark as, and because everyone has a TV in the living room, preferably with visibility, it is difficult to imagine anything other than just a TV, and maybe not even an OLED which is also best when it is dark in the room.

 

LG hopes to do something about this with a 3700-lumen projector with brightness - these are more than rival products in the segment of projectors that are mounted a short distance from the screen and this can show you a full 120 ″ with content of only 10 cm from the wall.

 

5.6 cm from the canvas gives 90 ″. It is much more than 75 inches which are some of the biggest TVs you can buy.

 

CineBeam HU915QE also has:

  • 4K HDR

  • HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping

  • Brightness Optimizer II automatically optimizes for lighting conditions in the room

  • LG webOS

  • Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, YouTube and Apple TV built-in

  • Screen Mirroring

  • 2,000,000: 1 contrast level

  • Apple AirPlay 2

  • Bluetooth

  • 2.2 channel 40W speaker

  • Connect up to two LG Bluetooth speakers simultaneously

  • The price is not known, nor is the launch, but with a press release out there, we predict it will not take many months before it can be traded (LG says in the first half of 2022, then during the summer).
