Collaborates on compatibility issues.
The update scandal seems to make no end to Microsoft: an error that has so far been said to have been under the radar makes Windows's iCloud users after the latest update experience incompatibilities. Now Apple and Microsoft are working together to correct this.
The error appears when Windows users with the latest October update try to install the latest version of iCloud (126.96.36.199) - An error message stating that iCloud for Windows requires Windows 7, 8, or Windows 10 with April update at the latest. This is because people have long had problems with the program, including syncing photos.
On the support page, they write that Apple has identified an incompatibility with iCloud for Windows where users experience problems updating or synchronizing shared albums after updating to version 1809 of Windows.
Furthermore, Microsoft writes that, so far, it prevents iCloud users from updating to the latest Windows 10 version and working with Apple to fix the problem so that iCloud users can continue as before with access to regular iCloud- functionality, including photos, emails, files and more.
