Coming to Norway in June.
Last year, Google-owned Nest recently launched Norway with the launch of a range of smart products such as smoke detectors and surveillance cameras. Now the company also comes with a smart doorbell.
From smoke alarms and surveillance camera to the bell
Next Hello is the name of the ring watch which, inter alia, notifies you on the mobile when someone calls the door, even if you're not home. Via the mobile app, you can talk to the caller or send them pre-recorded alerts. The smart ring bell also has a style mode, for example, if a child or a pet is not disturbed, the company states in a press release.
The ring clock consists of an HD camera with 2K image sensors like 4: 3 and 160-degree movies, allowing you to see the person from top to toe. It also supports Night Vision with infrared LED light so you can easily see who's on the door when it's dark outside.
In addition, Nest sells Nest Aware subscription service, which includes what it reviews as "an additional level of monitoring" and continuous storage to the cloud of video. With the Familiar Face feature, the camera uses Face Detection to detect whether or not a known person is on the door.
Nest Hello is launching today through the official online store and available in selected stores from mid-June. The price starts at NOK 2790.
