The site has used machine learning to categorize five million videos uploaded to the page.
Initially, the company uses face recognition software to identify 10,000 individual porn actors and then mark them in the video. This is usually done by the uploader and viewers who will still play an important role in this by verifying the choices.
Must scan all videos
Furthermore, the plan is to scan all five million videos "in the next year" and categorize them. At the moment, the pace is low.
Over a month, the software scanned 50,000 videos, which means that it will take about ten years to scan all. Then the machine learning at the beta stage and PornHub hope to increase the scan rate.
Opposite VentureBeat, PornHub says that the new solution will give their users more accurate search results.
"The easier it is to navigate and get the access they want, the happier will be them," says VentureBeat.
