Run school system from the eighties!
Raspberry Pi is undoubtedly a big success and can be used to a lot of stranger - but did you know that Do also can install Risc OS on it?
Widely used in schools in the eighties
Risc OS may not be so familiar in Norway, but the system invaded British schools in the late eighties until Windows 95 came to work.
Because Raspberry Pi uses an ARM processor, it is also easy to install the retro system on the tiny machines, and there is a separate version for this.
Own installation tool
You only need to install the NOOBS installer, where you will get Risc OS as a choice and then follow the instructions.
Risc OS has the full ability to use, for example, the Ethernet connection on Raspberry Pi, so you can use it on the Internet - and it comes with several useful applications.
Play Doom!
Even Doom is available, for those who want to play retro games on their retroat system.
More about how to install the system can be found in Makeuseof's article or you can read more about the system on Risc OS Open's web pages.
