The renowned Android leaker "Ice Universe" has revealed Samsung's camera setup in the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the very best camera phones (and an incredible phone in every way,) if not the best, along with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Often it will depend on taste and preference. It will be all the more exciting what Apple shows off in September because now Samsung has something special on the way.

According to the leaker, the top model that may be launched in January, if Samsung follows the same launch plans as with the S24, will have an incredible "speccet" 4 x camera setup:

200MP main camera – same as its predecessor
50MP ultra-wide angle – increase from 12MP
50MP telephoto with 3 x optical zoom – an increase from MP
50MP super-telephoto with 5 x optical zoom – same as its predecessor

It is possible that Samsung will choose its own chipset, the Exynos 2500, which is rumored to be more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 that Qualcomm is expected to launch in October. Due to the performance increases, it is possible that the top mobiles will become even more expensive.

Other leaks point in the direction of 16GB RAM, 5000 mAh like the S24 Ultra, and 45 W fast charging. This may therefore indicate that a focus on the camera will also be the thing in 2025.
