Apple was the first to hit the market with tandem OLED panels, but they won't be the last.
This will be the first laptop with a double OLED
For above The Verge's Microsoft journalist Tom Warren, Dell confirms that they too are in on the OLED fun with the XPS 13 ARM. This will therefore be the first on the market with LG Display's pOLED panel. "I saw that many people believed that Apple has invented tandem OLED, but of course, that is not true," reports Warren. Dell's Snapdragon X machines leaked ahead of Microsoft's Build press conference on May 20. At the time, information was leaked that pointed in the direction of incredible battery life, but it seems that the 29.9 hours found in the leaked documents is not true: most machines max out with up to 22 hours of battery life. It is the same as the MacBook Pro M3.
The new Snapdragon machines, including the Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Pro, will launch on June 18.
