It's that simple

Intel 7th generation and AMD's first generation Ryzen CPUs should have been allowed to run Windows 11, simply because they are powerful enough.

The very simple trick was first discovered a year ago

We agree with Neowin on that, but still, Microsoft denied access without using programs that avoid it for you, or with a new command that makes it very easy.

The only thing you need to do to install the OS regardless of hardware is to run the command "setup /product server" from the installation root of Windows 11. You probably have your version on a USB stick for easy "installation" in Windows.

Many people use Rufus to create an ISO for installation regardless of hardware, WinToUSB is another tool. The smart thing about the command is that you don't have to create a new installation medium.

This is a simple trick, and there is actually one from Microsoft as well. It's not like the company markets the feature. Instead, it's tucked away in a help document that warns against installing on anything other than compatible hardware.
