ChatGPT is currently taking off completely. The service is reported to be the fastest-growing consumer app in history with 100 million active users in just two months.

The AI revolution has begun
It is the analysis company UBS that has investigated its use and found that the service, with its many app options, has an average of 13 million active users every single day. This figure again comes from another analysis company; Similarweb.

 

The media coverage has doubled usage compared to December 2022. OpenAI opened ChatGPT in November for free use, but there are also many apps that know how to take advantage of it and charge for responses.

 

Microsoft is baking AI into Teams
Did you think TikTok is popular? Yes, the social video network from China is popular, but nowhere near OpenAI's ChatGPT: it took TikTok nine months to reach 100 million active users globally. It took Instagram over 2 years to reach the same user base.

 

Furthermore, OpenAI is backed by Microsoft. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that Microsoft is working to integrate the AI service into its own products.

 

The company will embed automatically generated meeting notes using GPT-3.5 from OpenAI in Microsoft Teams Premium.
