Microsoft has opened up Teams to consumers who want to organize with groups, and the offering is free.

Are they getting anywhere with this now?
There is support for group flash messages, file and image sharing, and a shared calendar with support for Google Calendar. It has also been made it easy to find images and files shared in the groups and share links to groups.

 

The major social networks all have the ability to create groups, but with this service, Microsoft focuses exclusively on precisely this. It will be interesting to see if they get anywhere, late, in an already saturated market. Can Windows and Teams integration help? Not impossible.

 

 

Not for the lazy
Microsoft's view on the matter is also that their service is for "people who want to get something done."

 

Not a place for gossip, that is. The company points to its country's traditions in work software, or productivity software as it prefers to call it.

 

As mentioned, Teams is free, but you have to log in with your Microsoft account, as it is Teams.

 

Support is included in the Teams app for iPhone and Android, and support is available now. Support for PCs will come later.
