iPhone 13 owners may find that the screen turns purple. According to Apple, it's a software crash.
Apple has two time-critical issues they need to solve
First, a report appeared on Apple's help forum where a customer complained about just this. Since October / November it has been quiet.
Now it flares up again with a response to this Reddit thread where thread starters link to the technology newspaper Tech Carving which reports that Apple has talked about the problem, but only on the Chinese social platform Weibo - the reason is that most of the errors occur for Chinese owners of the company's latest mobiles.
Expect new updates in the coming week, also for this bug
Apple's comment is that "we did not detect any relevant hardware issues, because this issue occurs when the phone is locked". Special.
Customers who have experienced the problem report that the device first behaved strangely: everything from GPS failure and that "the battery behaved strangely".
In the hope that a reboot would fix the problems, the mobiles ended up like this instead.
