Apple is considering making the iPad bigger

Bloomberg's award-winning Apple specialist Mark Gurman says Apple is considering building an iPad with larger screens. As of today, the largest iPad Pro measures 12.9 inches diagonally.

Does the distinction between pad and laptop blur?
Gurman says that any new change in the iPad's screen size is at least a couple of years ahead and Apple is still in the first, exploratory stage. Apple is also said to be developing a redesigned iPad chassis with glass back for launch in 2022 with existing 11- and 12.9-inch screens.

Gurman speculates that larger screens may blur the distinction between Apple's range of tablet laptops. As the usability of iPadOS increases, so does the demand for screens to do the job. Today, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is Apple's largest mobile computer.

Wireless charging/reverse charging?
The aforementioned redesign of the iPad Pro 2022 body will for the first time make it possible to build in wireless charging of the iPad. In this case, it can also support reverse wireless charging; that the iPad can be used to inductively charge iPhone or AirPods.

There have been rumors in the past about implementing reverse wireless charging in the iPhone 11, but that was rumored.
