More than 40 states will probably sue Facebook - may be revealed next week

40 states, led by New York State Attorney Letitia James, are likely to sue Facebook next week.

The case started already in September last year.

Four sources told Reuters that Facebook will be sued next week
The lawsuit is about privacy, "reduced quality of options" and "higher advertising prices". It is uncertain exactly which investigation the lawsuit is based on, so we will have to come back to this next week.

It is unknown which states are involved in the lawsuit, and neither party wants to comment on the case at this time, which strengthens the sources' credibility that a major lawsuit will be filed next week.
