At the same time, the creators of the extensions must promise not to sell data to third parties or use user information for anything other than the product, including the use of the data for credit checks and loans.
In order for everything to be ready in January, developers can already now submit information about what is collected, ie the text that will be shown to users - the alerts will be in place on 18 January 2021.
