Sony has made an ever so small blister with PS5 installations and the interface.
PS5 installs PS4 games
The problem is that the brand new console that will be launched in Norway on Thursday, but which we already have a sneak peek at, is not so smart when it comes to the correct game version.
This occurs when downloading cross-platform games such as Valhalla, Black Ops Cold War, and Borderlands 3: the games are installed in a PS4 suit from the disc and not the version that is better and made for the new console.
How to download the best version
To make sure you download the correct versions on Thursday, it's therefore smart to click on the three dots in the game's store menu, and explicitly select the PS5 version for the very best graphics.
If you are unsure of what is installed, you should visit the storage overview and possibly delete the PS4 version, PS5 has even less storage space than Series X and S, and the games only get bigger and bigger.
