And now Android gets "Fast Pair".
Google has finally launched real wireless Pixel Buds.
Missing ANC but priced lower
These are second-generation Buds, and unlike the first generation, these are real wireless plugs.
The plugs have IPX4 certification and connect to devices with Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker in these is a 12 mm one that is specially designed by Google. These do not have ANC, but instead passive noise reduction.
The plugs provide up to five hours of listening time and up to 2.5 hours of talk time. With the case, they can be charged with up to 24 hours of listening time and 12 hours of talk time.
Under 2000, but not sold in Norway
Google Norway sells Nest Hub, WiFi, and the Google Next Mini in Norway, but not the Pixel mobiles or Pixel Buds, so they probably won't be launched here in Norway either. They are also not found on the company's Norwegian online store.
In the US, the price is $ 179, $ 1890.
Android Fast Pair
This is a self-explanatory feature: faster and easier pairing with your mobile device.
Harmon Kardon FLY and Google's new Pixel Buds are the first with technology support that also makes it easy to find them again should you lose them or forget where you placed them.
