Fixes errors with the sound but brings with it a printer problem.

Last year's October update of Windows 10 presented a number of serious problems for some users. For example, some experienced that the entire document folder disappeared.

Many people had therefore hoped that Windows 10 1903 (the May update) would solve fewer problems. But even though 1903 has had fewer errors than last year's autumn update, it has far from been flawless.

Security update causes printer problems
There have been problems with the network adapter, the search function, and poor performance. Most things should be fixed now, but thanks to a new security update, a number of Windows 10 users have encountered a new problem.

KB4517211 was launched on September 26 and fixed audio problems in Windows 10. However, several users were also affected by a printer problem.

On the Microsoft forum, it has flowed in with reports of people not getting their printers working after the update.

"After the installation of KB4517211, the printer coil started to crash. Uninstalling the update and restarting solved the problem. Reinstalled (update, journal note) to retest and then the printer reel continued to crash. In addition, the Start button would not work and it reported a critical error. Uninstalling the update fixed the problem again. This is on Windows 10 1903 RTM », a user writes on the forum.

HP worst hit
Most people who experience this problem appear to be using an HP printer, but other manufacturers should also be affected.

So then just wait for the next update to fix the problem (and possibly a new problem arise).

Have you noticed anything about the printer problems?
