Several months after the 1809 update, new errors are discovered.

After Microsoft launched the October 10 update to Windows 10 (version 1809), a number of unexpected issues arose for users.

But errors still appear in the new Windows edition, although most people seem to be fixed.

Disables the Administrator account
Recently, Microsoft Taiwan published a blog post describing a problem affecting some users. This occurs if you update from the March issue, ie 1803, to the October 1809 release, and disable the administrator account on the machine (no longer validated).

Furthermore, these conditions must be present: You must have the built-in Administrator account turned on and one or more other accounts on the machine must also have admin rights.

Microsoft says they will come up with a fix for this later in January. And encourage this:

"If you need to update (until 1809) before the fix is launched, please make sure you have access to an admin account user account, as well as to the built-in account".

FLAC trouble
Some users also report that the FLAC format does not work in Windows 10 1809.

The error is due to many metadata from FLAC files, whether in Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player.

This also applies to users who have updated directly from version 1803 to 1809.

In the preview version of Windows 10 19H1, Microsoft has fixed the FLAC problem, the company is expected to do the same with the 1809 version during January.
