Ever since the “Pokemon Go” was launched on July 6, the augmented reality mobile game phenomenon has taken over the world by a storm with no signs of slowing down. Since then, Pokemon Go has launched in more than 30 markets, most recently Japan.

As far as game lovers are concerned, they are always on the go to catch their favourite Pokemon and expand their collection for the ultimate Pokemon team. In totality, there are 151 monsters that need to be caught in Pokemon Go. There are 142 that you can catch in the United States, while the remaining nine are either extremely rare or region-locked.

A New Yorker has become the U.S.’s first Pokemon Go master who has managed to find every single one of the 142 Pokemon characters in Pokemon Go that are roaming the U.S.

Brooklyn-based Nick Johnson, whose Reddit user id is ftb_hodor posted a screen cap of his smartphone on Thursday, showing that he has completed his Pokedex of 142 Pokemon.

So, how did he achieve this feat? The feat was made possible by the Level 31 Pokémon trainer’s utmost dedication.

According to Johnson, he apparently spent two weeks — at least 50 hours a week, and walked 95 miles and caught a grand total of 4,629 Pokemon and hatched 303 eggs. He has walked an average of 8 miles a day in the two weeks since the game came out. However, according to Johnson, it was worth fulfilling his childhood dream of catching ’em all.

Three of the Pokemon still missing from Johnsons Pokedex are region exclusives: Kangaskhan (Australia), Mr. Mime (Europe) and Farfetch’d (Asia). The rest are Articuno, Ditto, Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres and Zapdos, who have all not been sighted since the game first launched in early July. So, it is going to be a while until he can find these.

Even with his Pokemon collection complete, Johnson says he will keep on playing, though he hopes that Pokemon Go developer Niantic improves Gyms and the game’s battle systems to “make them more fun.” Further, his girlfriend still has to complete her collection, so he has to help her out.

“But I will probably sleep more,” Johnson says.
