Apple has released iOS 17.5

Apple has launched iOS 17.5 over two months after the last medium-sized update

This is new
This is not a hugely exciting update, but there is support for "cross-platform tracking detection" that we discussed earlier last April and first in May last year.

 

• Offline mode in Apple News+ lets you access the Today feed and News+ tab even when you don't have an internet connection
  
• Quartiles is a new and original daily word game now available on Apple News+
  
• Leaderboard in News+ Puzzles gives you access to new player data for Crossword, Mini Crossword, and Quartiles, including stats and streaks
  
• Cross-platform tracking detection delivers alerts to users if a compatible Bluetooth tracker they don't own moves with them, regardless of the operating system the device is paired with
  Greased incorrectly and sealed security holes
