At least two 5G models in 2019
Qualcomm boss Cristiano Amon told in his presentation to keep his eyes open for two 5G flagship models in the year to come and was replaced with OnePlus's top Carl Pei on stage. He confirmed that OnePlus launches a 5G phone next year and that the company becomes one of the first to launch a 5G device, if not the very first.
Pei mentioned, among other things, that they had done 5G tests at the Qualcomm headquarters in San Diego, no later than August.
Engadget writes that the 5G phone it is talking about with a high probability will be top-notch and that it's talk of the phone that was announced for the first half of 2019 with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem.
