You can trick Windows 11's new media player

Microsoft's new media player for Windows 11 was first sent to the dev channel for testing.

How to install right away

The company then announced the program in November and then announced the availability of the beta channel a while ago.

 

However, it is uncertain whether everyone who will have received it, or whether Microsoft is waiting even a little longer to roll out to a large mass, but there is a trick to install now regardless of Windows 11 version:

 

1. Visit https://store.rg-adguard.net/ and paste in: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/groove-music/9wzdncrfj3pt

   Press the menu on the right side and select “Fixed”
   
   

2. Look for the file Microsoft.ZuneMusic_11.2111.54.0_neutral_ ~ _8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle (35MB) and download

   Install by upgrading*
   
   

3. Search for “Groove Music” to launch the new media player
   
   

4. Neowin points out that the player accepts external subtitles, but that this version does not work in Windows 10, and that it is uncertain whether support will come.
