Microsoft has introduced a brand new media player for Windows 11.

Windows 11 will soon have a much nicer media player

The new version can already be tested by dev testers of Microsoft's latest OS.

 

How many people use a local media player anymore is uncertain, but it is sometimes you play local files, and then it is nice that the new version is dressed in new clothes to match 11.

 

At the heart of Media Player is a full-featured music library that lets you quickly browse and play music, as well as create and manage playlists.

 

If your music collection is in Groove Music, your library and playlists will be automatically transferred to the new experience, ”Microsoft explains, adding that the update will replace the Groove Music app.

 

 

Windows 11's new media player is currently only available in the dev channel.
