Now you can run Android apps in Windows 11 Beta

Test your Windows 11 in the beta ring (22000.xxx series) you can now (as expected) beta-test Android apps from Amazon AppStore.

When you are first in the beta channel, follow the following requirements:

 

• Enable virtualization in BIOS / UEFI
  
  

• Set the Windows 11 region to the US
  
  

• An American Amazon account to use Amazon AppStore

 

To make changes, you can search for "Windows Subsystem for Android" (now version 1.7.32815.0) from the start menu. The platform updates will take place from the Windows Store.

Microsoft Store does not show the reports of Amazon AppStore apps

If you are experiencing problems logging into the Amazon App Store, turn off the ad blocker

• Availability options are not enabled in Amazon AppStore yet.

 

Windows Subsystem for Android

 

• Network Problems using LTE on Arm64
  
  

• One can experience visual errors on certain errors on Arm64
  
  

• Performance may vary if you drive more apps at the same time
  
  

• There are familiar camera errors in some apps
  
  

• Apps that wake up from "modern sleep" will experience errors
