Microsoft's complicated beta program creates headaches, there is an awful lot to deal with.

Unsupported machines will be released from October 5 - will have to beta test Windows 10 instead.

At the same time as announcing Windows 11, Microsoft announced that unsupported hardware will not receive new versions.

 

Many people probably forgot this message and were therefore surprised when they found out that Microsoft will not serve new test versions in the dev channel from the launch of the OS, which is set for October 5.

 

You will always be able to trick Windows 11 on unsupported computers, but note that you will miss some updates.

 

Microsoft promises not to block you: anyone can install Windows 11 this way

 

Microsoft instead offers Windows 10 testing in October:

When Windows 11 is publicly available, these machines will be removed from testing and will not be able to receive future Windows 11 trial versions.

 

These machines must perform a clean installation of Windows 10 with an ISO that we offer.

 

Then you can join the Release Preview channel to test new Windows 10 beta versions.
