Microsoft will not support Windows 10 after 2025
Share onMicrosoft states in its updated fact sheet for Windows' life cycle that they will not support Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations and Pro Education after October 14, 2025.
But Windows 11 is on its way
This means that there will be no upgrades or security updates after that date from the US technology giant.
When Microsoft launched Windows 10, they said it would be the latest version of Windows. But six years later, we know that there will be a version 11.
Windows has announced a launch event on June 24 where they are expected to show off the next Windows.
We do not know if the next version will be called Windows 11 or if they have come up with something else fancy to call the operating system.
It usually takes a lot of time for people to upgrade the operating system so we can probably expect to see Windows 10 for a good number of years to come.
