Flash is not gone yet, but it will happen in July

Finally, after many years of talk, and a tool (KB4577586) to remove Adobe Flash from Windows, it finally happens this summer.

This has taken many years
In July, the company will roll out an update that deletes Flash completely from the operating system.

It was in January this year that the once-powerful multimedia platform for the web was marked "end of life", which means no more security updates, which is a security risk in itself.

The problem with KB4577586 is that it had to be downloaded manually, which very few people do. Why they wait until July to remove Flash for users is unknown.

Also excluded in the May update
Flash also disappears when the 21H1, launched this month, is rolled out.

This version is almost complete and can be downloaded from the Release Preview test ring, but it is the case that complete versions of the OS will not contain Flash from July.
