NetMarketShare and StatCounter confirm that Edge is the most popular browser for Windows, after Google.
Edge now has over 10 percent market share
Microsoft has made the right moves with the browser after it for many years used the company's own graphics engine, was rarely updated, had almost no extensions, and was slower than the Chromium competitors.
Chrome is still king, there's no doubt about it: Google's browser eats up 67.14 percent of the market, but look at this: in March 2020, Edge had 8.93 percent, but after a year, the figure is 10.11 percent.
Firefox's trend is negative
During the same period, Firefox fell from 9.25 percent to 7.95 percent, a relatively dramatic figure when we talk about the browser just under 10 percent.
It helps that Microsoft has retired its old browser and included the brand new one in Windows, without a doubt. But as mentioned, Edge is a far better browser now.
