iOS 14.5 beta 2 has been launched - battery life has been announced

We can confirm after several weeks of testing that the latest iOS updates have fixed the battery issues that led to faster draining of the battery during use and hibernation than normal, especially on our iPhone 12 Pro.

Updated.

iPadOS 14.5 beta 2 is of course also launched, and has the following privacy enhancement: when Smart Folio is closed, the built-in microphone is muted.

Now that this issue has been resolved but never acknowledged by Apple, it's time for a new beta version of Mark's Nightmare: iOS 14.5 that asks users if they want to be cross-tracked by Facebook and other cross-platform marketing apps.

iOS 14.5 supports PS5 DualSense and the new Xbox controller that comes with the Xbox Series.
It is not known what is new in beta 2, but in addition to the privacy improvement, it is also the case that an Apple Watch now opens the iPhone for you, if the phone sees that you are wearing a mask. We are already happy with the feature.

The second beta of tvOS and watchOS are also launched by developers.
