Eonomic Daily News claims not only that Apple is developing a car, but that it will be shown next year.
Avis claims Apple has already sneak-driven its car in California
There are anonymous sources in the production network in Taiwan they have reportedly talked to, and they believe that Apple's car arrives much earlier than expected.
Apparently, the production speed for the new parts will be increased already in the second half of next year, and that Apple has secretly tested a number of prototypes on the roads in the home state already.
As is well known, Apple was allowed to test drive cars in 2017, but has not been revealed to drive anything other than Lexus with LiDAR technology.
Apple's car is probably a couple of years away from unveiling, but again: who knows?
There have also been rumors about this: that Apple will not produce and sell its own car, but deliver AI technology to other car manufacturers. Reports of this appeared a couple of years ago after there were frequent rumors for a while that Apple had its own car under production, but that is many years ago now.
What the status is right now is difficult to know, but that Apple will already in September 2021 reveal its car sounds less likely than Ming-Chi Kuo's report that this will not happen until 2023 or 2025.
What is known is that Apple's head of AI, John Giannandrea, has taken over the management of Apple's car project, whatever it is at the moment.
