HOW to charge in the car in the future

The company "Aira" announced this week that they have received a strategic investment from the company "Motherson", this to help bring their "FreePower" wireless charging of devices to cars around the world.

Aira is the company behind Nomad charging products.

The charging surface becomes part of the car
The companies aim to work together to develop, produce and supply the market with charging mats that can be integrated into the interior of the car (and in the home), which will allow you to charge your devices wirelessly in the car.

Aira freepower wireless car charging
Unlike traditional wireless charging mats, which require devices to be precisely positioned to be charged, "FreePower" allows you to charge the devices on the entire surface from corner to corner.

This new technology allows you to have a charging surface in a number of different sizes. In fact, you can even charge "Apple AirPods" while they are inside their charging case, as shown in the image above.

Will bring the charging mats to desks, restaurants, airports, etc.
The company "Aira" envisions a car with a large charging mat in the center console between the front seats, where all units with wireless charging can charge freely on the entire surface. How this is implemented in different cars is a bit up to the car manufacturer itself, as more people probably want to implement cup holders and other things, in addition to the charging mat.

No deadline has been set yet when we will see the first charging mats from "Aira" implemented in a car, but the technology is already used in Nomad Base Station Pro.

The company also wants to expand the technology, so that we can get charging mats on, among other things; desk, bedside table, restaurants, airports, hotels, and more. We look forward!
