This is not surprising, because the judge has previously been skeptical of Epic's various stunts.

A plus for Tim Sweeney and Epic Games is that Unreal Engine can still live in the Apple App Store and thus thousands of games that depend on the widespread game engine.

The trial between the two is scheduled for the summer of 2021.
