6G is a hundred times faster: the target is 8000Gb / s

Has already transferred 11GB per second

The theoretical maximum speed for 5G is 10 Gb / s. In ten years, we will all look at it as a 90's network.

5G has not even become a thing, they also come here with 6G
Now, this theoretical number has been shattered, after researchers in Japan managed to transfer 11GB / s during a demonstration of the technology that is predicted to be a hundred times faster.

A real 11 Gb / s download on our gadgets will be nice, not to mention that you no longer need wired networks or fiber.

6G will not arrive until 2030 at the earliest
To achieve this, they have developed a chip that uses terahertz oscillations that exist between infrared and microwave radiation.

This has previously been considered very expensive, but thanks to a new material, mass production can probably be achieved faster than expected.

6G will be able to send out speeds of 1 terahertz - it is three times faster than 5G.
In pure Gb / s we are talking an incredible 8000 Gb / s, at the same time they will be able to cut waiting time and the bandwidth will be significantly higher. These high numbers make us wonder how much bandwidth you really need in ten years… there is a worn-out Bill Gates quote here somewhere.
