Samsung has unveiled 8TB SSD: 870 QVO, an internal SSD, while Sabrent has launched an external SSD with as much storage space, making them the first in the world.
8TB without additional power supply - up to 2700Mb / second with Thunderbolt 3
Let's first consider Sabrents Rocket XTRM-Q, as they are the first in the world with this size in an external form factor.
The drive uses Thunderbolt 3 which gives it 2700Mb per second write performance, and up to 900Mb per second with USB and requires no drivers.
The series comes in the sizes 500GB (1650 NOK), 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB (15,500 NOK) as mentioned. Prices are converted from dollars.

Then it was Samsung who also launched an internal SSD, 870 QVO. The speeds are typical for SSDs: Read and write speeds: 560/530 MB / s.
