Microsoft has quietly launched Windows File Recovery on the Windows Store.
Here's how Microsoft explains the app
"Did you accidentally delete an important file or format your hard drive? Not sure what to do with broken data? Windows File Recovery can help you recover personal data. ”
Feel free to share your worst data loss nightmare in the comments section and explain how you recovered the data if it went well in the end.
There is also support for retrieving images from the camera and SD card. In addition, of course, traditional hard drives support, SSDs (but to a lesser extent due to TRIM cleaning), USB, and memory cards.
Tip: Do not use the machine if you have lost data as Windows overwrites the look and frequently.
