Chromecast can be quite different very soon

Become part of the Nest brand, but that's not all.

Google continues to change the all-smart home brand from Google to Nest.

Chromecast becomes part of the Nest brand
Next out is Chromecast, the cheap and small power dongle that can be plugged right into the TV. And that may not be so cheap or small soon.

Now it is rumored that Google is renaming it to include Nest - maybe Google Nest Cast?

Equipped with remote control and Android TV OS
The focus is not just to change the brand name, thankfully, but to improve the software so that it shows movies and TV shows to a much greater extent on the home screen, rather than a list of apps.

Rumors are that the new device is powered by Android TV, instead of an Android + ChromeOS combo (the Chromecast name disappears, is our tip).

The unit should also be launched with its own remote control. The price is expected to end at around 800 kroner, so this is probably a device that needs its own power over USB.
