Star Wars is already gracing the front.

In a press release, Electronic Arts announced its comeback on Valve's popular gaming platform Steam. They announce in the same vein that EA Access will also be available on the platform, and already you will find a large banner with the option to pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Steam.

The game launches on November 15 and can be pre-ordered here.

EA Access available in 2020
The new Star Wars game, along with a number of other individual games from EA, will first be found on Valve's service before EA Access will be available in spring 2020. The hidden downside of using Steam for EA games and their subscription service is that it still requires an EA account as well as activation through EA and running the Origin client in the background.

The head of EA looks forward to the cooperation. In a statement, he says that this marks the start of an exciting collaboration with Valve that will bring out innovation PC players can appreciate.

Valve's own Gift Newell is at least equally pleased with the partnership. Newell says it's a good day for gamers to partner with Steam users to access EA's games. In addition, he considers it very positive that the two communities from each of their platforms finally get a common arena.
