Something for those who have a very good time or who are very busy.

Are you the type that listens to podcasts at a higher speed and would like Netflix to have similar functionality? Then we have good news for you.

The power giant is now testing a new feature on Android that lets you play content at either slower or faster speed.

This should be possible
The accessed users can either lower the speed to 0.5x or 0.75x or increase it to 1.25x or 1.5x. For example, watching something at a slower speed can be useful if you want to enjoy and / or analyze specific scenes in a movie or TV series.

Increasing speed can be convenient if you want to skim through the content quickly.

Currently small test
The feature, which is otherwise not available in the desktop edition of Netflix, seems to be available to only a small proportion of users.

Obviously, Netflix is currently only testing this, but the feature is likely to be rolled out to users eventually, perhaps even to the desktop edition.
