But not until next year.

But not until next year.

Summer is here, and with it comes high temperatures. It's nice not to be whipped in the face by rain or snowflake, but it might start to get a little too much of a good thing when the scale shows above 35 ° C. Wouldn't it have been great with a portable air conditioner?

Dress it up
Having to move outside at such temperatures makes you very susceptible to sweat, and if you work in a company with a strict dress code you may have to bring an extra shift at work. Sony is going to solve this problem with an air conditioner that is getting dressed.

Sony has called the device for Reon Pocket, and it is currently out on Sony's own crowdfunding website - where the project is already financed. The price has been set in excess of NOK 1,000.

Need a custom-designed t-shirt
The appliance is fastened in a pocket at the back of a specially designed t-shirt. However, it does not only work in the summer, but it can also keep you warm in the winter.

Reon Pocket utilizes the Peltier effect to absorb or emit heat. The appliance is controlled using an app, but an automatic mode is planned for launch.

Reduces the temperature by up to 13 ° C.
According to Sony, the device should be able to lower the temperature by 13 ° C. Sony further claims that the device can bring the temperature up to 8 ° C if the carrier is hot. Sony also writes that the device is charged with USB-C and that it will be possible to get 24 hours of use on a charge.
